First Look - Urban Decay Electric Palette

I was simply ecstatic to get this palette over the weekend. BECAUSE ITS BEAUTIFUL.

The box is just so pretty, and the palette itself has the same design with a magnetic closure, which makes it super easy to open and close.

Inside the palette:
The palette comes with 10 vibrant/neon/awesome colours, and a duel ended eyeshadow brush. I honestly cannot stop staring at it, this is the most beautiful eyeshadow palette I've owned or laid eyes on (besides the Urban Decay Naked 3). I've never been an eyeshadow girl until I started experimenting with make-up, and getting out of my comfort zone. My comfort zone for eyeshadows is neutrals/purples and sometimes black. This palette is like a million steps forward for me in make-up, and I'm excited to create new looks with it.

Swatches of the top row:
From left to right:
Revolt: silver, metallic shimmer eyeshadow. In my opinion it wasn't as pigmented as the rest.
Gonzo: bright turquoise/ocean colour
Slowburn: vibrant neon orange.
Savage: matte neon pink, swatches a little light.
Fringe: metallic teal colour.

Swatches of the bottom row:
From left to right:
Chaos: bright electric blue with a pearl shimmer (one of my favs, and also from the vice palette).
Jilted: a fuchsia colour with a blue shimmer.
Urban: bright metallic purple.
Freak: green with a gold shimmer.
Thrash: matte neon green/yellow with a pearl finish.

Now here are some shots of a look I made:

The colours I used were Gonzo, Savage, Urban and Freak.

The only bad thing I have to say about this palette is that the metallic glitter silver colour is kind of flaky and probably has a lot of fall out, but otherwise all the other colours are amaze balls and I didn't even apply primer before swatching. They're SO pigmented. Although, one thing that people complained about is that the colours stain, and when I looked in the box it stated:
I'm assuming that those are the colours that would most likely stain your eyelids, so just a warning for those planning to buy this palette. Of course the correct thing to do is apply an eyelid primer, maybe a base colour first and then the colours you want on top to avoid staining.

Anyways, I think this palette is well worth the money since it comes with a variety of colours that you can create many different spring/summer looks with. It will actually be great for summer since there will be a lot of music festivals coming up, which I am also attending. WOO first year going to VELD!!! I will probably use this palette and create a couple looks in the next few weeks.
