Sephora Haul + First Look (#1)

Hello, so I was at the mall over the weekend, and as I was picking up one of the products I've been eyeing, I kind of went overboard and splurged at Sephora. I didn't get much, BUT it was a pretty pricey bill.

Here's a nice overview of the products I got:
Look at how nicely they're stacked.

This was the reason I went to Sephora. I had one of these as a sample from a really long time ago and I decided to use it. Since my last year in highschool, I started to get really disgustingly oily skin. For the life of me I could not find a product to solve this problem until I tried the sample of this. Don't take my word for it now, since I only tried it that one time, but I LOVED it. I guess when I wash my face it gets too dry and it produces more oil, but this moisturizes it enough that it stops oil production.
Product contains 1.7 oz./50 ml
Description: This lightweight, oil free, skin energy drink, fortified with legendary skin-boosters like Panax Ginseng and Coffee Bean, jumpstarts hydration levels. Lackluster-looking skin is rapidly refreshed and revitalized to create a healthy, vibrant glow.
Scent: A very strong citrus scent. Smells delicious.

First off I'm so happy that it came with a pump! I got this on a whim trying out the Sephora skin IQ screen and it recommended me this product for oily skin.
Product contains 5 fl oz/150 ml
Description: An effectively gentle way to deep cleanse, this refreshing cleansing oil dissolves impurities and makeup without leaving an oily residue. Eucalyptus invigorates the senses while boscia's natural oil complex of rose hip and green tea cleanses impurities, decongests pores, and refines skin texture.
Scent: It has a nice green tea, fresh scent. Very subtle.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Genius Kit (Medium Brown) ($31)
I love any of the Anastasia packing, its so modern and not over the top. I originally wanted to get the Anastasia Brow Powder Duo but they didn't have the colour I wanted in stock. I felt like I needed a change from my Milani Brow Fix Kit, so I decided to try the brow genius kit.
Inside the box it contains: an instruction booklet on how to apply the product, the brow powder, a dual ended spoolie and angled brush, and the beauty genius clear waterproofing gel.
Powder contains: 1.5 g/0.05 oz
Gel contains: 3 g/0.015 g
Description: Waterproof your brows.. Wow that's genius! Mix Brow Wiz Loose Powder with Beauty Gel.. Fill in brows for waterproof brow colour that lasts and lasts and lasts. Brow Genius. So smart.
The cashier told me that the beauty genius brow gel can be used on top of lipstick to make it waterproof and non transferrable. I am definitely going to try that.

Bite Beauty Luminous Creme Lipstick Duo ($15)
The last thing I picked up was a lipstick(actually two in one!) from Bite Beauty. This was one of those impulse buys placed strategically around the line up of the registers, and I couldn't say no to such a great price.
I think Bite Beauty has one of my favourite packagings for their lipsticks, so cute and simple! Also the material, almost like a rubber? feels nice and smooth to the touch.
This picture does not do it justice. The vibrant purple (looks almost like a bright pink in the photo) is called Violet, and the vibrant magenta is called Palomino.

I can't wait to start using these products, especially the skin care ones. I was never a big fan of taking care of my skin, but I'm hoping that these products will make a difference enough for me to care. If you would like a full review on any of these products please leave a comment below!
