With Mother's Day coming up in Canada and the US, I'm sure many of us are scrambling to figure out what to purchase our mom. Lucky for us, Caryl Baker has got us covered. Today I will be sharing my thoughts on the Caryl Baker Visage lipsticks. Not only that, I am here today to promote the "Your Purchase Counts Campaign".
From Sunday May 1st to Sunday May 8th (Mother's Day), if you purchase a Caryl Baker lipstick, $1 of your purchase will go to Starlight Children's Foundation. Starlight Children's Foundation is the only children's foundation in Canada that helps seriously ill children in and out-of-hospital from diagnosis through the course of their care journey. Caryl Baker Visage has also supported and been a sponsor of Starlight Children's Foundation for 25 years!
Also for the first time ever, Caryl Baker Visage will also have a company-wide Mother Daughter Makeover Day. On Sunday May 1st, select locations will host Starlight mothers and daughters to participate in a day of fun and beauty.
Now on to the lipstick review!
I was intrigued to see how unique this lipstick packaging was. At first glance, I was confused as to why the lid of the lipstick tube had a hinge on it? (Keep reading to see the surprise!)
Gorgeous spring colours!
Amazing! Once you open the lipstick, a mini mirror pops out!
A LIPSTICK THAT COMES WITH A BUILT IN MIRROR? OMG.
Roseberry is probably my favourite that I received. It's a super pretty dusty salmon pink.
This is totally my go to spring lip colour.
Fawn is more of a bright, fun peachy shade.
Very pigmented and definitely makes you stand out of the crowd.
At first glance, I wasn't a fan of how the shade Flirt looked. It's a deep magenta, which I'm not a huge fan of.
The colour itself is absolutely gorgeous when swatched though, which was surprising. It has shimmer flecks in it which makes it glisten in the light. Super feminine and girly.
Marilyn is a beautiful, bright blue-red. It's my ideal red shade.
More of a cool toned red, this one does wonders on making my teeth look whiter haha.
Supertramp is a very pretty, cute tulip pink. I call it a tulip pink because I'm pretty sure this is the same shade of pinks I see in pink tulips. Or I guess you can say it's a baby pink hue.
It's very vibrant and bright, a very cute spring shade.
The lipsticks are very creamy, and are made with emollient gluten free ingredients which will prevent drying and chapping. Caryl Baker Visage has 42 lipstick shades in different textures, so you can achieve a variety of looks. The colour pay off is amazing and my lips felt very moisturized when using it. I do recommend using a lip liner because the creaminess of the lipsticks can cause a bit of feathering after a few hours of wear.
Remember, your purchase sounts!
From May 1st - May 8th when you purchase a lipstick, $1 of your purchase will go to Starlight Children's Foundation. 33 stores across Ontario and Alberta will be participating in this campaign. If you would like to know if a Caryl Baker Visage near you is participating, check out the store list here, and feel free to give them a call.
